The Resilience Mindful Meditation Series

  • Be with the most authentic version of you and release self-criticism.

Begin to utilize your vulnerability with yourself by focusing on your breath. Practice allowing your thoughts to arise so that you can label them without judgment and accept them as thoughts, not a mark on who you are.

Give yourself time to be with the most authentic version of yourself while also tracking and releasing moments of being self-critical.

*Great to utilize in moments when you are feeling anxious or stressed about being vulnerable - with others or with yourself.

  • Practice Productive Perseverance in real time with box breathing (counted breathwork).

Practice Productive Perseverance in real time by utilizing a counted breath pattern and intentionally bringing your mind back to the breathing when your mind wanders (it’s ok that it does!)

Learn the patterns of your natural breath and to trust your breathing.

*Great to utilize in moments when your mind is feeling unfocused, overwhelmed, or anxious.

  • Generate compassion for yourself and others with intentional focus with breath-centered repetition.

Connect with your own wisdom, the energy of your heart, and the physical sensations of your breath.

Allow yourself to experience true connection with your internal self and experience compassion for yourself and others.

*Great to utilize in moments when you need to practice being kind toward yourself.

  • Experience gratitude as a full body feeling and live in the positivity of the present moment.

Practice intentional gratitude for the things and people in your life that mean the most to you, including why you’re grateful for them.

Allow yourself to experience gratitude as a full body feeling and to intentionally live in the positivity of each moment.

*Great to utilize in moments when you want to re-engage with gratitude or are having a hard time finding positivity.

  • View the contents of your mind without judgment while imagining possibilities for your life.

Spend time viewing the contents of your mind as if they were a movie outside of yourself. Continue the practice of acceptance and non-judgment.

Learn to receive the positive emotional energy you can from imagining possibilities and living in that energy.

*Great to utilize in moments when you feel stuck or misaligned with your vision or authentic self.

“According to neuroscience research, mindfulness practices dampen activity in our amygdala and increase the connections between the amygdala and prefrontal cortex. Both of these parts of the brain help us to be less reactive to stressors and to recover better from stress when we experience it.”
